Senior SDE / Lead SDE - Network Security

Experience: 5-11 years

What You’ll Do:

We at M2P Fintech are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and security. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and infrastructure management, with a proven track record of success in complex environments.

Some of the Key responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Develop and implement network security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect against unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions to support business growth and technological advancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems into the existing infrastructure.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of network infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering and infrastructure management.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to network emergencies as needed.
• Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures to maintain an accurate and up-to- date knowledge base.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.
• Expertise in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex network environments.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
• Hands-on experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking principles and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Wireshark).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
