They soothe my nerves and sharpen my mind.2. What are your main responsibilities as Operations Manager?The Operations Team at M2P works in full-on active mode round the clock. In fact, we are in a never-ending race with the clock.Every day starts afresh with a new to-do list. We don’t carry forward any unfinished business to the next day. This reduces work pressure as we complete our daily tasks on time.Now I feel my adrenaline pumping... It creates a perfect vibe to start out my workday with positive energy. Then comes the main part where I will schedule and align my tasks for an exciting day at work. This helps keep my tempo up and ensures that my mind is in sync with the assigned tasks.<h2 class="heading-node" id="ed8c">What are your main responsibilities as Senior Operations Engineer?</h2>My responsibilities include attending day-to-day operations such as query handling, coordinating with our partners, and dispute management for the partner banks. I also provide MIS support within the stipulated time ensuring that my TAT is met. I also coordinate with internal team members to ensure that all processes are aligned intact with the requirement and result in zero escalations.<h2 class="heading-node" id="20b2">How have you grown through the years as an M2Peer?</h2>M2P has offered nothing less than a wonderful experience for me. I’ve been part of this payment ecosystem since its initial days. I’ve learned a great deal here, especially to assert myself and multitask without losing focus. Really grateful for the honor.I believe that daily habits set the tone for success or otherwise. So, I ensure my morning routine preps me for the exciting and challenging tasks ahead in the day. Then I kickstart my work mode by creating a to-do list and checking for critical alerts and messages from our internal teams and partners.My goal is to acknowledge client issues and smoothen out the process of issue identification and resolution. The next step would be to ensure that our team sorts out the issues in the shortest TAT possible and makes the client stress-free.Being customer-centric and time conscious are the mantras that keep me thriving throughout the day.What are your main responsibilities in tech support as a system analyst?Ensuring that our clients face zero issues in their journey with us is our ultimate responsibility. And in the event of any technical glitches, I help them resolve the issues without any hassle. To achieve complete efficiency in tech support, we have an unspoken golden rule which goes like this."Stick to the process of any live issue being reported and then resolve it as soon as possible."In our team, we have a practice. We ensure that all our observations, experiences, and outcomes of issue analysis are shared with our peers. Since everyone in the team is aware of all possible issues and the resolution breakthroughs, it helps us identify patterns and expedite issue resolution. I’m really proud of this collaborative knowledge-sharing initiative in our team.<h2 class="heading-node" id="f019">How have you grown through the years as an M2Peer?</h2>When I became an M2Peer, I was a payment industry rookie with just two years of experience. I had minimal understanding of payments and reconciliation.But my life as an M2Peer for the past five years has been an enormous learning curve. It has transformed my understanding of transaction life cycle, payments and made me love all things fintech.<h2 class="heading-node" id="17dd">Is there a quote/saying that motivates you?</h2>Yes, I believe that,"Whatever mess we create, we can and must always be the ones cleaning it up."<h2 class="heading-node" id="dc69">What’s that one thing your colleagues don’t know about you?</h2>Being almost five years as an M2Peer, I’m an open book. My colleagues know everything about me.<h2 class="heading-node" id="4cc9">What inspires you the most about M2P?</h2>The one thing that inspires me the most about M2P is the work culture and how people help each other learn new things here. Having started as someone with little experience, I have been able to gain knowledge on various aspects such as payments and more. M2P is the best place for all beginners to learn and shape their careers.<h2 class="heading-node" id="5166">What’s your idea of a perfect day?</h2>To be honest, finding a perfect day in tech support is tough.Delivering end-to-end tech support is a never-ending process. But there is lots of sunshine when we close out issues on time and receive a client appreciation for our toil.<h2 class="heading-node" id="9956">What was your career path before joining M2P, and how has it changed?</h2>When I graduated in 2015, I was unsure about my career. But growing with M2Peers in the past five years made me learn and appreciate fintech. I have changed my perspective from zero to being the one who likes to learn and explore fintech!<h2 class="heading-node" id="bd97">What are your hobbies/interests?</h2>Most of my hobbies include spending time with my family and doing fun chores. I also like to spend quality time with my nephews. How do you usually start your workday?</h2>I start my day on a positive note, by making a cool to-do list. As soon as I reach the office, I catch up with my mailbox which has an uncanny ability (will explain that below). After that, I get on a discussion with my team to chart out the course for the day.Now, let me share how my email box acts funny. You see, I receive most of my priority jobs through emails and I always try to read them all. Sometimes, the more I read, the more emails keep flooding my mailbox. The torrent of email inflow becomes so scary, that I feel the unread count only increases and doesn’t seem to reduce at all. At times, I feel my outlook may run out of numbers to count one day… LOL!<h2 class="heading-node" id="c38d">2. What are your main responsibilities as DVP- Business Operations?</h2> At M2P, I lead Financial Operations (FinOps). My daily focus includes tracking vendor payments and payables in the form of Account Receivables (AR) and Account Payables (AP). I help my team keep track of the invoices we raise every day while checking pending payments and follow-up emails.<h2 class="heading-node" id="6046">3. How have you grown through the years as an M2Peer?</h2> I started out at M2P in 2017. And I am proud that my team and I will be completing our 5th year soon. Earlier, I was handling Human Resources, Administration, Card Operations, and Finance. Now after transitioning to FinOps, it is very inspiring to see how we have grown as a team in the past few years. I have learned a lot from my fellow M2Peers and our founders.<h2 class="heading-node" id="fec7">4. Is there a quote/saying that motivates you?</h2>There isn’t a phrase as such. But there is a word that brings the best out of me.It’s&nbsp;‘Self- confidence’.I believe that being confident in every single thing I do drives and motivates me.<h2 class="heading-node" id="e8df">5. What’s that one thing your colleagues don’t know about you?</h2> Well, nobody knows that I’m a short-tempered person by nature. My colleagues wouldn’t believe this as I never lose my head at work. But, outside work, people can see that I’m hot-headed.<h2 class="heading-node" id="95a5">6. What inspires you the most about M2P?</h2> It’s the way Madhu, our co-founder works. Working alongside him for the past 5 years has been a huge inspiration and has taught me both life and business skills.<h2 class="heading-node" id="accf">7. What’s your idea of a perfect day?</h2>My best day would be when my emails count to zero! Yeah, that’s something I’d love to see. Tell us, how do you usually start your workday?</h2>My day starts on a very positive note with a cup of tea. The morning tea hits perfectly and pushes me to move forward the whole day. Then, I sit for my update calls, where the team and I discuss the tasks planned for the day.This includes ongoing tasks from previous days, new tasks that need to be kickstarted, team discussions, brainstorming, and more. This is how my workday goes by.<h2 class="heading-node" id="abae">2. What are your main responsibilities as a Senior Software Engineer?</h2>My contribution to the team is focused on the development of mobile applications. The development happens end-to-end. I work on different parts of the development process that include user interface design, application design, application implementation, unit and functional testing, and deploying it to our clients.In addition to this, I focus on requirements that require my contribution by yielding support to the technical support people.<h2 class="heading-node" id="0c5f">3. How have you grown through the years as an M2Peer?</h2>Even though I started out with M2P with some previous experience, looking back, I have been learning something new daily. Now that I am stepping onto my fifth year as an M2Peer, it feels like a wholesome learning journey and understanding more about the Fintech ecosystem. For example, I have learned a lot about cards, transactions and much more. Learning is the biggest mantra that made me grow in all these years.<h2 class="heading-node" id="a9a8">4. Is there a quote/saying that motivates you?</h2>To be honest, NO.I am a person who actually believes that the motivation to do anything will automatically come in when the situation hits you hard. Not to be philosophical, but I consider that the situations tone and make you stronger. So then, the motivation factor can be felt naturally.<h2 class="heading-node" id="ba9c">5. What’s that one thing your colleagues don’t know about you?</h2>I guess I cannot hide it any longer. LOL. I’m a PC Game freak, guys. I love to play PC Games whenever I can.<h2 class="heading-node" id="eaaf">6. What inspires you the most about M2P?</h2>All these years of growing together with M2P, the people here inspire me a lot. I get inspired by the relationship between people here. M2P is a space that really values the connection between people. So, there is this free and friendly bond between every one of us.I can easily communicate with everyone from the founders to all my colleagues. I think that this aspect inspires me to give it my best shot.<h2 class="heading-node" id="ce93">7. What’s your idea of a perfect day?</h2>Well, to all people who experience similar happenings, I hope you all can relate to me. A day without bugs/ issues that need to be resolved is the perfect day ever!<h2 class="heading-node" id="42a2">8. What was your career path before joining M2P, and how has it changed?</h2>I started my journey with M2P with almost two years of experience. I want to say that learning and growing have been the change. I’m giving my best at developing mobile applications end-to-end, and I like to continue doing the same.<h2 class="heading-node" id="298f">9. What are your hobbies/interests?</h2>As I mentioned earlier, I love PC Gaming. Playing shuttle is my forte to add in a few more of my diverse interests. My hobbies include listening to songs and doing sketches, and yeah, I almost forgot, I love gardening.<h2 class="heading-node" id="b741">10. Meet M2P’S Software Engineer

In India alone, around 190 million people do not have access to banking services. This makes India the second-largest underbanked nation after China.Simple, hassle-free access to financial services helps people achieve financial freedom. Providing untethered access to salary and incentives is the road to financial independence and social security.<h2 class="heading-node" id="d1fa" style="text-align: justify">A bumpy road to financial freedom</h2>People in the blue collared sector are usually excluded from the mainstream financial ecosystem as they do not have a structured way to receive salaries, save, and track their spends. Fintechs like Zenpay facilitate this financial access by offering inclusive <a class="link" href="https://m2pfintech.com/blog/future-of-payments-processing-matched-with-industry-needs/">digital payment solutions</a> such as zero-balance salary accounts, payroll cards, and gift cards. They enable blue-collared workers to digitally access salaries and incentives without any paperwork and also save, spend, and track their finances efficiently. Though Zenpay literally revolutionized the banking sector by enabling simpler, more efficient, and transparent payments, they faced key challenges in security, <a class="link" href="https://m2pfintech.com/blog/pci-dss-the-payments-armour/">PCI-DSS compliance</a>, and infrastructure design. As more and more customers adopted digital payments, the transactions and data became highly vulnerable to malicious activities. So, Zenpay wanted a <a class="link" href="https://m2pfintech.com/blog/future-of-payments-processing-matched-with-industry-needs/">payments processing solution</a> and a token service provider to enable highly secure and seamless financial services to blue-collared workers.<h2 class="heading-node" id="0a13" style="text-align: justify">Powering card security, operations, and infrastructure</h2>M2P collaborated with Zenpay to help smoothen hurdles in card security and infrastructure. We deployed our comprehensive <a class="link" href="https://m2pfintech.com/blog/how-to-implement-the-best-prepaid-payment-instrument-ppi-for-your-business/">PPI </a>APIs to overcome the challenges Zenpay faced. Our solution created a strong base for Zenpay to partner with VISA and NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) and enable salary cards and gift cards.<h2 class="heading-node" id="f9bc" style="text-align: justify">End-to-end tokenization</h2>Securing cardholder data through <a class="link" href="https://m2pfintech.com/blog/how-does-payment-tokenization-work/">tokenization</a> is critical for businesses to prevent cybercrimes. However, tokenization consumes a lot of time and effort when done in-house. So, we acted as a token service provider (TSP) to manage tokenization and enabled Zenpay to focus on its core competency and manage customer retention. M2P handled the generation and issuance of payment tokens and the operation and maintenance of a token vault. We also offered PCI-DSS widgets to lower the cost for PCI assessment and the time spent on PCI compliance procedures.<h2 class="heading-node" id="da2c" style="text-align: justify">Seamless card program management</h2>Customers today prefer banking apps that are bug-free, quick to load, easy to operate with hassle-free onboarding. Choosing a program manager is critical to enable seamless operations and user experience. M2P served as a robust program manager to Zenpay and was responsible for security, quality assurance, technology integration, migration, customer engagement, reward strategies, and banking relationships. We risk proofed Zenpay’s technology infrastructure for a flawless and high-quality banking experience.<h2 class="heading-node" id="f46d" style="text-align: justify">Scaling up for 250% rise in customer base</h2>Customers expect more hyper-personalized services when it comes to digital wallets. M2P helped Zenpay ensure new customer acquisition and retention by delivering an amazing user experience. Zenpay upgraded its user experience from receiving voice notifications to image recognition.Enabling the best user experience, Zenpay expanded its customer base by more than 250% in just 10 months, with a whopping increase from 35,000 to 125,000. M2P helped Zenpay scale up by offering robust, secure, and bug-free API infrastructure.Zenpay also increased the total number of customer transactions by 47%. As a result, the transaction volume increased from 180 crore transactions to a whopping 265 crore transactions in 10 months.<blockquote class="block-node" id="nfhkrm6a3">Approachable. Innovative.
